Product Overview

DAE Pumps offers heavy-duty cable-deployed dredge pumps engineered for remote and deep-water pumping tasks. These pumps are designed for maximum versatility—deployed by crane, excavator, A-frame, or barge—and deliver consistent performance in high-solids, abrasive environments. With the ability to reach depths of up to 100 feet and pump slurries over a mile away, these systems are ideal for operations where precision and power are non-negotiable.

How It Works

The pump is mounted to a lifting frame or cable assembly and lowered into the desired location using a crane, excavator, or A-frame. Once at the correct depth, the pump is activated to begin high-capacity slurry or sediment transfer. After use, it can be retrieved for cleaning or redeployment. This method allows for flexible positioning, even in locations inaccessible by land or surface-mounted pumps.

Main Industrial Applications

Dredging Operations

Dredging Operations

Cable-deployed pumps are commonly used for deep-water dredging in rivers, lakes, harbors, and industrial reservoirs. Their ability to reach submerged sediment zones makes them ideal for reclaiming depth and maintaining navigable waterways.

Mining & Tailings Management

Mining & Tailings Management

In mining environments, these pumps are essential for moving abrasive slurries, tailings, and water with suspended solids across long distances and out of deep pits or holding ponds.

Environmental Remediation

Environmental Remediation

For sediment removal in contaminated or sensitive zones, cable-deployed pumps offer a non-invasive and precise way to extract sludge, waste, or hazardous materials without disturbing surrounding areas.

Construction Dewatering

Construction Dewatering

Projects that involve excavation below the water table—such as bridge footings or tunneling—rely on these pumps to control groundwater and ensure dry, stable working conditions.

Marine Infrastructure Maintenance

Marine Infrastructure Maintenance

Used to clear buildup around docks, ports, and seawalls, the pumps provide a reliable solution for routine or emergency sediment management in active marine environments.
